The second edition of the french Main Group Metal Chemistry Symposium (MGMCS) will take place from Wednesday 25 October to Thursday 26 October 2023 at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Victor Grignard campus, of the Université de Lorraine.

The aim of this symposium is to bring together members of the main group metal chemistry community to revitalize the network around the Main Group Metal Chemistry in order to promote scientific exchanges and encourage the emergence of new collaborations.

This 2nd edition of MGMCS will feature a program of two plenary lectures and 11 oral communications covering the various elements of the main group, with a focus on C-metal / C-métalloïde bonding (preparation, use in synthesis, applications).

Two coffee breaks and a cocktail reception will allow scientific exchanges around posters.

There will also be time for discussion on the possibility of building a Main Group network.
